Our Story

1994
Founded as a trading company under the name rtmr (Reinkensmeier, Trading, Managing, Research).
Initially established as a sole proprietorship representing national and international manufacturers from the wood, plastic, and metal sectors.

1998
Reorganization of the agency into a limited liability company (GmbH), with Klaus Reinkensmeier as Managing Partner.

2003
Introduction of third-party logistics storage, enabling fast and consistent delivery to customers on demand.

2007
First apprentice at the company
For the first time, the company successfully trains a young professional, thereby taking responsibility for professional qualification in its own trade.

2012
Company-Owned Warehouse – Fast, Flexible, and Fully Equipped
Opening of our own logistics facility in Lage, offering ideal conditions for secure and efficient storage and shipping. Equipped with modern lifting vehicles and high-performance loading systems, we ensure efficient container unloading and swift dispatch.
In the same year, we added our own transport vehicle – enabling even faster and more flexible deliveries directly to our customers.

2013
Additional apprenticeship positions created
Two additional apprentices begin their professional careers at the company – a clear commitment to promoting young talent and securing skilled workers.

2017
Relocation and consolidation of four warehouses into our new headquarters in Horn-Bad Meinberg, featuring over 1,700 m² of warehouse space, a spacious showroom, and representative office facilities.
Successful participation at Interzum Cologne with our own exhibition stand.

2023
Expansion of the management team
Udo Gemmerich is appointed as an additional managing director by owner Klaus Reinkensmeier. The expanded management team lays the foundation for the successful and future-oriented development of the company.

2024
Successful completion of further training as a quality manager (IHK)
A team member successfully completes further training as a quality manager, thereby strengthening our internal quality management.

2025
25 Years of rtmr (link to article)

January – Training certificate (IHK)
Successful further training of a team member as a trainer.

February – Further training as a QM auditor (IHK) completed
A team member qualifies as a certified auditor – another step towards sustainable quality and process assurance.

August – Additional training position created
Another apprentice hired as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant (specialising in foreign trade).

September – Further training of an employee to become an expert in marketing and online trade
Another step towards making the company more future-oriented.
